How did your passion for travel get started?
Growing up in the Midwest my family went to the Jersey Shore, Florida and the Wisconsin Dells on summer vacations.
When I was 15-years-old I fell in love with all the TV Show Survivor and while watching season 2 I assured myself I’d reside in Australia and see the Outback. Fast forward to my junior year in college, I decided to study abroad in Sydney. When no one in my app wanted to go to the Outback I stumbled on my first ever solo backpacking trip. And the rest is now history…
Just how many days/weeks are you currently travel in any given calendar year? What are the types of places you like to go to?
You grew up in the Midwest and now call Los Angeles home.
What makes these places such travel destinations? What do you recommend when they see people do that?
I try my very best to take. On top of that I really like sprinkling in weekends away in the usa. I am drawn to adventure destinations and am a sucker for shores and epic trekking.
You do a movie show in your Facebook page called”Around The World in 80 Seconds.” Would you tell us all about it and how it came about?
The Midwest will always have a special place in my heart due to the people. I love being surrounded by Midwesterners who put a value on family members and family. It is a MUST to consume Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza along with Portillo’s Italian steak when visiting Chicago. What I love most about Los Angeles is the quantity of outdoor experience in this close proximity. There aren’t many cities where it is possible to go skiing and surfing in exactly the identical weekend!
What do you want audiences learn and to gain from your work?
The main point is that I wanted to bring a purpose that is larger for my excursions. In addition I still always think of the idea to make a tricky, educational, inspirational and adventuresome digital show. The idea of”80 Seconds” rather than”80 Days” popped in my head and I ran with it.
What are the top 3 destinations you’ve seen?
I hope others have been motivated to travel throughout my work. A lot of my content is centered on solo travel so I hope that through my adventures followers and my subscribers find the courage to travel and also to take that trip they have always wanted to, even if no one will go together. I love when someone reaches out to me and thanks me.
Give us your’Top 5′ list for a few of your best 3 destinations. Just like a to-do list of sorts or a mini-guide. It can be anything in your favourite resort, the best place to have lunch, the best holiday season, etc..
This is so tough! To make it easier on myself I will pick from my journeys in the last few years for example South Africa, Cinque Terre along with Zion National Park.

Travel is a decision. If you want to travel, then choose to traveling . And I guarantee it’ll be the very best option of your life.
What is your favourite travel quote?
Still include Pulau Iceland, and Italy one of many.
Where are you headed next?
“I believe that you should really make a radical shift in your way of life and begin to boldly do things that you might previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to try. So many folks live within joyful circumstances and yet will not have the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a lifetime of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which might appear to give 1 peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventuresome spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for experience.” — Chris McCandless
I’ll be Traveling for the next month!
Coming up is Malaysia, islands off the coast of Singapore, Santa Barbara and maybe Hawaii for the first time. There. My journeys are spontaneous, and which I adore!
